L'Noir Magazine!

Wednesday 3 September 2014

If you follow me on Instagram or twitter you will already know but for those who don't I have amazing news...I am launching a magazine! For the past 2/3 weeks I have been working on the launch of a magazine named L'Noir (grammatically incorrect French for The Black). I named it this because it's such a meaningful shade.

I once read a quote that said:
“Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy - but mysterious. But above all black says this: "I don’t bother you - don’t bother me". I envision L'Noir to be mysterious, modest, arrogant, easy, chic and effortless.

We want to celebrate the diversity of Women! We want L'Noir to be the magazine that every woman can read whether their black, white, asian, tall, skinny etc. Fashion shouldn't exclude you based on your credit balance, weight, skin colour or height.

I already have a small but mighty team which I'm so thankful for who are keeping me focused and on the straight and narrow, they share my vision and are all as passionate about L'Noir as I am. This includes Sian the fitness and health editor for the magazine,  beauty editor Shree, our online health and fitness editor Christie and our head photographer Imaan. We have such a diverse group of women contributing to the magazine and I hope these will be a reflection on the kind of women who read it.

L'Noir will be split into 3:

L'Noir Online - Which is basically daily fashion, celeb & beauty news site.
L'Noir Magazine - An online magazine that will be available for reading worldwide on your computer, iPad & Phones.
L'Noir TV - We will be conducting video interviews with celebrities and entertainers.

I am still looking for people to join #teamlnoir  these are the positions we are looking to fill.
